Isaac Freeman (In Newton County Arkansas)
to Mose Freeman (Isaac & Spicy’s son who stayed in NC) (In Madison County, NC)
SE 1/4 of the NE 1/4, also the NE 1/4 of the SE 1/4
Section 27, Township 14 North of Range 20 West..

This indenture made the fifteenth day of September in the year of our Lord,
one thousand eight hundred and sixty (1860) between
Moses Freeman of the county of Madison and state of n. Carolina and Lewis
Shirley of the county of Newton and State of Arkansas..of the other part:
Witnesseth that the said Moses Freeman for and in consideration of the sum of
twenty dollars to him in hand paid by the said Lewis Shirley, the receipt
thereof is hereby acknowledged, hath bargained and sold by these presents
doth bargain and sell to the said Lewis Shirley his heirs and assigns
forever, a certain tract or piece of land situated lying and being in the
County of Newton and the State of Arkansas, joining lands of allowing
described,
Southeast quarter of the North East Quarter, also the North East Quarter of
the South East quarter in Section 27 of Township 14 north of range 20 west in
all...80 (Eighty) acres belonging to the estate of Isaac Freeman, dec’d ten
acres the heirship of Moses Freeman in said tract which is his undivided part
of said estate and all the appertenence thereunto belonging to have and to
hold the same unto the said Lewis Shirley, his heirs and assigns forever and
the said Moses Freeman for himself and his heirs will forever defend the
aforesaid land and premises and every part there of against the claims of all
persons whatsoever to the said Lewis Shirley his heirs and assigns and the
said Moses Freeman for himself and heirs doth covenant and bind himself that
the is seizer of the premises and appertenence in fee simple and hath full
power and ability to convey and hath by conveying the same in fee simple.
