Family Files	FAMILY FILES A gathering place for online material about Edgmon and related family lines. Submitted by individuals who are interested in sharing with all of us. This is where you can post military information, group sheets, biographies, reunion announcements and other data. Please share your memories, genealogical material, and tales handed down through the years.
Family Census Records	CENSUS RECORDS Back in the 70's, Don Johnson was very active in family research. He descends from Samuel Deatherage Edgemon through Thomas R. Edgmon. Throughout his research, he noted family census information. He has shared those notes with me. I have also accumulated census data via soundex, microfilm, and printed census transcripts. I have added notes. The combination of that data is presented here.

Edgmons in the Civil War	EDGMONS IN THE CIVIL WAR Jennifer Serfati transcribed available data from the Confederate Pension Roll. She descends from Allen Edgmon through John Edgmon who married Jane Davis. I have added additional notes. Also check Newton County, Arkansas and the Civil War. Several family members participated in skirmishes, engagements, and expeditions, and appear in Companies and Regimental Rosters associated with Newton County.
Cemetery Index	CEMETERIES AND KNOWN BURIAL SITES Transcribed cemetery data as well as burial information found in Bibles, diaries, obituaries, and other sources.
Signatures, Marks, and Brands	SIGNATURES, MARKS, AND BRANDS An assortment of signatures and marks made by family members. Also included is a collection of brands used for marking of livestock.

At the click of a button, the internet allows us to make contact with individuals. I have found alot of very nice family members through the use of the internet. I have also found individuals who use a variety of email addresses as well as an assortment of names 'identifying' themselves...To me, such tactics are out of line, especially when attempting to contact individuals about genealogy and family history. I strongly feel that persons who use such tactics are deceptive. I will NOT allow this website to be a forum for those persons to carry out their deceptive practices. Albert Einstein...
