Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Riddle, age 80, died at her home near Apison at 8:45 a.m. Tuesday.

She is survived by her husband, W.O. Riddle and eight children: Three daughters; Mrs. H. L. Snyder of Detroit, Mrs. Lula Ward of California, and Mrs. John Reeves of Chattanooga; five sons, A. W. and S. H. Riddle of Apison, A. W., J. H. and R. L. Bartlett; fourty-four grandchildren and thirty great- grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Belle Kennedy of Wayhesville, Mo., and Mrs. Lucy Aron, of Alma, Arkansas.

Mrs. Riddle was a life-long member of the Baptist church. Her body will remain at the residence until funeral hour, to be announced by the Smith Funeral service.
