
William Henry Edgmon, 75, of Rogers, died Tuesday at St. Mary Rogers Memorial Hospital. He was born March 2, 1911 in Swain, to Columbus and Dorcus Sams Edgmon. He moved to the Rogers area in 1970 from Russell, Kansas. He retired in 1965 after working 22 years for the Coop Refinery Association in Russell. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 291 in Bunker Hill, Kansas and of the Eastern Star in Rogers.
He is survived by his wife Mary Sparks Edgmon of the home; a son Johnny Dean Edgmon of Cherry Hill, New Jersey; a daughter Edna Faye Sparks of Rogers; three brothers, Beecher Edgmon and Walter Edgmon, both of Rogers and Harse Edgmon of Jasper; a sister Rhoda Charlton of Eureka, Kansas; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be a 10 a.m. Thursday at Burns Funeral Chapel
