
Richard Franklin Baker, 83, of Conway, died October 15, 1999 at Conway Regional Medical Center. Born June 25, 1916, at Mount Vernon, a son of James Clark and Esther Bell Spradlin Baker, he was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints and a Veteran of World War II.
Survivors are a son, David Baker of Greenbrier; four sisters, Odie Harrison of North Little Rock; Bessie Williams of Conway; Rachel Edgmon of Damascus and Dortha Bush of San Lorenzo, Calif.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathleen Hurley; three brothers, Oscar Baker, Clifton Baker and Olin Baker; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Burial will be in Baker Cemetery. Arrangements are by Roller-McNutt Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Wyette Baker, Frank Baker, Matthew Baker, Paul Baker, Aaron
Baker and Mary Baker.
