
Funeral rites for Sidney Nathan Edgmon, 71, were held at his home in Baron, Wednesday afternoon at 2 O'clock, with the Rev. Bud Lacie, pastor of the West Peavine Holiness Church, officiating. The Peavine Choir sang three hymns, &qout;I'll Be Satisfied," "Shall We Gather at the River," "I Will Not Be a Stranger.".
Burial was in the Foreman Cemetery under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home. Mr. Edgmon was born February 3, 1883 in Boone County, Arkansas, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Allen Edgmon and died in a Prairie Grove, Arkansas hospital, Tuesday.
He was married to Miss Elizabeth Keeter in 1911, who preceded him in death a number of years ago. He was a member of the Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors are one son, Melvin Edgmon, of Westville; one granddaughter, Mrs.
Wynona Sue Ellis, of Tulsa; 4 great grandchildren; two brothers, W. H. Edgmon of
Westville and Marion Edgmon of Visalle, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Butler of
Stilwell, Mrs. Julia Benham, Olivehurst, Calif.
