| Comments: | he was first married to a lady named Sarah. He married about 1875 a lady named Mary (Goldstein) Gaylor. The 1880 census shows Isom; wife, Mary A.; her son, E.C. Gaylor and Isom and Sarah's children, Sarah J.[she married Samuel Skaggs 11-14-1880]; William E.[my wife's grandfather] and Ellen. Marriage books from Vera Dean-Ross show that Isom was performing weddings in the 1880's and the books state that he was an ordained minister but I don't know which church. Thanks for any help. |
