Illegitimate son of Cole Coffey. William's mother Mary Polly Holt married Jackson Strunk Aug 1839 Whitley Co., KY. Marion was raised as Marion Strunk around Marsh Creek, McCreary Co, Strunk, KY William Marion Holt married Talitha Cathern Lathrom,1868, 10 children. William Marion Holt's first marriage probably prior to Civil War in KY to Elizabeth, last name unknown. They had a daughter, name unknown, born probably 1855, in KY. In 1894, Marion found he was not divorced from his KY wife, he and Talitha separated he filed for divorce, granted March 27, 1895. Talitha & Marion married in Ava, MO by Justice of Peace March 29, 1895. Their son General Sherman Holt married Margaret Woods that same day. Mary Polly Holt may be the daughter of Francis Holt & Sarah(Sally) Denny married in Wayne County, KY in 1811. If she was, her siblings might be Stephen Holt, John R. Holt, and Arzula Holt who married Joseph Allcorn. |

Ben was born 2,17,1885 and Ida was born 1,7,1882. Ben died July 1980 in Sapulpa, OK and Ida died in Manford, OK. They lived in Oakhurst, Creek Co., OK 1960's and 70's that I know of.
