I recently found him on the CA death index which gives his father's name as only Summers and his mothers maiden name as Self. | Comments: | I have found this gentleman, my wife's great grandfather, in the 1900 & 1880 Newton County Census but not in the 1910 census, he probably died in the ten year span. In the 1870 census for Dallas Co., Mo. I found him with a wife named Sarah. The census says his two oldest kids were born in AR., Isaiah abt. 1856 and Caladonia abt. 1863. I looked in the the AR. index for 1850 & 1860 and can't find him. I found him mentioned in a Boone County historical book that was covering one of the Gaylor family and it mentioned that an early relative Mary Ann (Goldstein) Gaylor had married him sometime after 1873. Then the 1900 census does not show her but does show children named Tru(e)love living with him so I'm assuming he outlived a third wife. I have checked the marriage and cemetery records for Newton County and Boone County with no luck. I've lost him. Do you do any research other than from your family sheets? Thank you for any help.
