Phenius Nicholas died in Newton County in 1859. He had six sons: Thomas Jefferson, Allison H., John L., Marian, Clayborn, Joshusa and Samuel K.. All served in Confederate Army and probably lived in Limestone Valley. They moved to Johnson County after Civil War. They came to Arkansas from Tennesee and arrived in Arkansas in 1849. Thomas Jefferson was married to Sarah Ray and they had a son named Peter. |

He is buried in Mossville cemetery but do not know if Abbey is buried there or not. She was living in Newton co. several years before dieing. The children remember having to move her back and forth to kids homes, so she must not have died until at least 1925 etc. |
