According to the above census record Mary was the mother of four children (all still living) and Mabel was the mother of one child (still living).  Thompson’s occupation was listed as “farmer”, Johnson was listed as a “farm laborer”, and Ralph was listed as a “photographer”.  Walter was noted as “at school”.

 

At the time of the 1910 Federal Census, Ralph and his family were living in the household of his father-in-law, Thompson Craig, in Emmett City (North Emmett Precinct), Canyon County, Idaho (pg. 128; no dwelling or family #; enum. April 18, 1910).  The entire household was enumerated as follows:

“EDGERTON, Mrs. Mabel Craig, beloved mother of Roy B. & Russell C. Edgerton, sister of Walter, Vernon & Johnson Craig.  Services Thurs., 3:30 p.m., in the Wee Kirk o’ the Heather.  Forest Lawn Mortuary in charge.”
