Rumford Town Clerk has no record of Chandler's birth; records burned. State
Archives has no records prior to 1892. Fryeburg and Conway Historical societies
have no records either. BGP.

Willis Heath, Mildred Hill Heath of Center Conway NH (unpublished family
records shared with me in 2001. Permission to use name granted in Aug, 2005), I
first met and obtained records from Mildred in 2001 when she was age 92. We met
again in Fryeburg 10/10.2005 when she was age 96 and she updated/corrected the
John Willis Heath line, specifically Edwin H Heath's son Clarence (Cad) and the
Orrin Heath line. Errors appear in my Aug 2005 published info. (BGP Nov 2005),
says "10/19/1793" no other info.

documents say (1) he was age 60 at 31 Mar 1855 and (2) that he was born in
Rumford Mass (Maine) in Oct 1796. Register 55644; S.O 34507.

in Elta and Leon Gillespie files), According to her typed DAR "Applicants
Working Sheet" Nettie Glover was the daughter of Frances Heath White and Lewis
White. Frances was the daughter of James Heath and Jane Ayer. James was a son
of Chandler Graham Heath. It is probable that this info was sent to Elta and
Leon Gillespie by May Martin Gray, daughter of Betsy Martin Heath Beecher, when
Dad lived in Hollywood. Though not dated, one document possessed by Elta and
Leon Gillespie includes another document dated Dec 31, 1931. A third document is
dated 1938. One may postulate that Nettie's first husband, E. R. Glover either
died or they divorces and that Nettie remarried Mr. Wolcott before 1843. Nettie
White Wolcott of Pasadena CA, states that she was the daughter of Frances C.
Heath and Lewis White. They are therefore the same person. Most likely Glover
was her first husband. Wolcott's info on Chandler Heath and his family's
births, marriages and deaths is printed in New Hampshire Family Records in 1943
and in 1958 in FHL US?CAN Film 0854142, Item 1 at the Mormon's Family History
LIbrary. BGP, Note her info on Chandler is a year later. She cites birth as
Oct 19, 1796. Her dates for marriage as Aug 1819 and Lydia's birth as 1795
match other sources.

Benjamin Jr., John and Susan were definitely older, and Lewis was possibly
older.

application. May was Charles's sister, daughter of Betsey Heath and George
Armstrong Martin Sr.. (2) Typed carbon copy of 3 statements dated 11/29/34
given to me June 2005 by other Martin/Heath descendants in CA, (3) My father,
Leon Gillespie, knew her; she gave Dad and his brother info on the Heath/Martin
family in the 1930s which was the basis for much of family history written by my
parents in the mid 1970s. reports that "Lydia was sister of Abigail Wyman
Stevens and that they are buried in the same plot in County Line Cemetery,
Waldwick WI. Abigail was wife of Hubbard Stevens, so says Mrs. C. F. Stein".
Mrs. Stein is granddaughter of Sarah Heath Stevens. Gravestone inscription
reads "Lydia C. Heath, wife of C. G. Heath, died March 20, 1871 (nee Lydia
Wyman)".
(35) Gravestone, BGP did not find a stone for Lydia Heath on a visit to County
Line Cemetery 6/20/2002. I found Abigail Steven's stone which is broken and
barely readable. The data for Lydia is missing. There are several Stevens's
buried in this cemetery and there are many stones with 2 or 3 names on each
stone. There are also many Cockings in this cemetery. Note that Lydia's grand
son Charles Martin married Minerva Cockings, so it is logical that Lydia would
be buried in this cemetery.

grandmother spoke of Betsy being born in NH, but maybe it was Maine. Says they
had cousins in Maine, that "we don't know the births or deaths and that most who
would know are gone.

in Elta and Leon Gillespie files), According to her typed DAR "Applicants
Working Sheet" Nettie Glover was the daughter of Frances Heath White and Lewis
White. Frances was the daughter of James Heath and Jane Ayer. James was a son
of Chandler Graham Heath. It is probable that this info was sent to Elta and
Leon Gillespie by May Martin Gray, daughter of Betsy Martin Heath Beecher, when
Dad lived in Hollywood. Though not dated, one document possessed by Elta and
Leon Gillespie includes another document dated Dec 31, 1931. A third document is
dated 1938. One may postulate that Nettie's first husband, E. R. Glover either
died or they divorces and that Nettie remarried Mr. Wolcott before 1843. Nettie
White Wolcott of Pasadena CA, states that she was the daughter of Frances C.
Heath and Lewis White. They are therefore the same person. Most likely Glover
was her first husband. Wolcott's info on Chandler Heath and his family's
births, marriages and deaths is printed in New Hampshire Family Records in 1943
and in 1958 in FHL US?CAN Film 0854142, Item 1 at the Mormon's Family History
LIbrary. BGP, Elta G wrote 193"8" over unclear typed page. Incorrect.
