NH.

area.
(3) Mildred Hill Heath, wife of Clayton Noyes Heath, who descends from John
Willis Heath, Mildred Hill Heath of Center Conway NH (unpublished family
records shared with me in 2001. Permission to use name granted in Aug, 2005), I
first met and obtained records from Mildred in 2001 when she was age 92. We met
again in Fryeburg 10/10.2005 when she was age 96 and she updated/corrected the
John Willis Heath line, specifically Edwin H Heath's son Clarence (Cad) and the
Orrin Heath line. Errors appear in my Aug 2005 published info. (BGP Nov 2005),
contains no information on him other than "Benj Jr" no date cited.

work, 1958 Pasadena CA. Contained in FHL US/CAN Film 0854142 Item 1. Nettie
Wolcott's grandfather was James Heath b. 1833 and her grandmother was Jane
Ayers. See source Nettie White Wolcott for more info. Author says Benjamin born
1796 with no source info. Her info is likely the source for other researchers.
(5) 1850 Census, Conway, Carroll Co, NH, gives his age as 52 which calculates
to 1798, the same year sister Sarah was born.
(6) 1830 Census, Conway, Strafford Co, NH, gives his age group as 40-50 which
suggests he was born between 1781 and 1790.
(7) 1810 Federal Census, Conway, Strafford Co NH (p 581), There is one male
born between 1794 and 1800 in this census who is most likely Benjamin Jr.
(8) Probate Court Records, for Dolly Willey, in Ossipee NH, names him as her
son.
(9) National Archives, Washington DC, Pension File, Dolly's remaining pension
was distributed to her living children incl. Benjamin. on July 29 1850.
(10) Land Records, Benjamin Heath purchased land in Conway from Joseph in a deed
dated Jan 3, 1859 and Benjamin and Hiram Heath sold land in April 1863, but
this Benjamin may be Benjmain Jr's son, not himself.

(www.conway.lib.hh.us/cemetery/conwayccmf_i.htm), "Betsy Wife of Benjamin Heath
died" is all that remains of a stone in Row 5. This may be Benjamin Jr.s wife
who died in 1844 since she is buried 3 stones away from her son Hiram, and two
infant grandchildren. Or is may be Betsy Lewis Heath, first wife of Benjamin
Heath Sr. This Betsy would have died between 1784-1786 but no death record has
been located at 9/9/05.

descends from Joanna Heath and Orrin Edgecomb. Middle initial S. given to BGP in
email.

descends from Joanna Heath and Orrin Edgecomb. His family group sheet reads:
born abt 1813 in Chatham NH. Birthdate is his ref #44. Died 17 Mar 1895 at age
82 in Oxford, Oxford ME. Buried Chatham NH. Death and burial source is Maine
Vital Record Returns. Married Orrin Edgecomb 17 Feb 1844 in Conway. His source
#72 with notation Marriage certificate provided b y State of New Hampshire.
Note that her ageof 31 in 1850 Fryeburg census suggests born 1819 and her age
at death suggests born 1813. Note also that 1813 is before her parents were
married.

descends from Joanna Heath and Orrin Edgecomb. He cites Maine Vital Records
Reports.
(19) Family Bible, BGP found reference at Fryeburg Historical society. "Joseph
Heath b. mar 19, 1817. Death record lists parents as Benjamin and Elizabeth
Heath.', of Edith Proffetty.
(20) Letter from Dana Edgecomb to a living Heath descendant (5 Jul 2000), He
cites his line Benjamin Sr., Benjamin Jr., Joanna m Edgecomb then down that line
to himself. He also lists Joseph Heath born 19 Mar 1817 in Conway and died 1 Mar
in Taunton, Bristol MA as one of Benjamin's children. Marilyn Oberg, a
researcher for Conway Historical Society in 2001 also suggests this. Dana lists
Joseph incorrectly at one of Benjamin and Dolly's sons, but gives his date of
birth and death as cited here.
(21) Conway Historical Society, unsigned pedigree chart dated 27 Jan 1992 lists
Joseph Heath Born 19 Mar 1817 in Conway NH Died 1 Mar 1885 in Taunton, Bristol
MA Married 9 Dec 1845 in Fryeburg ME to Anna Lyle who was born 3 Nov 1854 in
Conway NH and died 25 Jun 1926 in Suffield Conn. Married 12 Sept 1877 (diff
date) then lists Franklin Carleton Pratt, whom I assume was her second husband.
Joseph's parents are listed as Benjamin Heath of Conway and Elizabeth no other
info.
(22) 1850 Census, Conway, Carroll Co, NH, She was age 32 when census taken Aug
14; census asks for info effective June 1. Living with father Benjamin Jr and
two siblings in home of brother Joseph and his family. Fam # 278, pg #
indecipherable on my copy.

order of listing in this census suggests he is Benjamin Jr's son. Fam # 278.
