This Indenture made on the eighth date of August A.D. 1912 by and between Ellen Fry and John Fry, her husband of
St. Genevieve County, Victoria Watts, Frances Horton, and Thomas Horton, her husband and Philadelphia Edwards
and William her husband, all the heirs and legal representatives of John A. Horton deceased of the County of St.
Francis and state of Missouri parties of the first part, and James E. Horton, Robert Horton, Ernest Horton, McKinley
Horton and George Horton of St. Genevieve County, Missouri and Emma Petterson and L.S. Horton of the County of
St. Francis and state of Missouri, parties of the second part;
Witnesseth, That the said parties of the first part, in consideration of the sum of 100 and no/100 dollars, to them paid by the said parties of the second part, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, do by the these presents Remise, Release, and Forever Quit- Claim unto the said parties of the second part, the following described lots, tracts or parcel's of land, lying being and situate in the County of St. Genevieve and state of Missouri, to wit:
All our rights, title and interest in and to the East ½ of the South East quarter of the South East quarter of Section 5 Township 36 North of Range 7 East, containing 20 acres.
To Have and to Hold the same, with all the rights, immunities, privileges and appurtenances thereto belonging, unto the said parties of the second part, and their heirs and assigns, Forever, so that neither the said parties of the first part, nor their heirs, nor any other person or persons for them or in their names or behalf, shall or will hereafter claim or demand any right or title to the aforesaid premises, or any part thereof, but they and every one of them shall by these presents be excluded and forever barred.

On this 10th day of August 1912 before me personally appeared Victoria Watts to me known to be the person described in and executed the foregoing instrument, and acknowledged that - executed the same as - their free act and deed. And the said Victoria Watts further declared herself to be single and unmarried.
