THIS INDENTURE Made on the 20th ay of July A.D.One Thousand Eight Hundred and Eighty by and between James W. Fry and Adalinda E. his wife of the County of Ste. Genevieve and State of Missouri parties of the first part, and John A. Guittar of the County of Ste. Genevieve in the State of Missouri party of the Second Part: WITNESSETH: That the said party of the First Part, in consideration of the sum of Five hundred and seventy five Dollars, to them paid by the said party of the second part, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, do by these Presents, GRANT BARGAIN AND SELL, CONVEY AND CONFIRM unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns, the following described Lots, Tracks, or Parcel's of Land, lying being and situate in the County of Ste Genevieve and State of Missouri To wit: All

Of the east half of Lot number Two of the North West quarter containing 57 acres more or less. The east half of Lot numbered one of the northwest quarter containing 40 acres, and the North East quarter of the southwest quarter containing 40 acres. All of said lands being in section 5 in Township 36 north of range 7 east and containing in the aggregate 137 acres more or less and is the same land conveyed or intended to be conveyed to said James W. Fry by Barnet Fry and wife by deed dated the second day of April 1875 and recorded in the land records of Ste. Genevieve County State of Missouri in book No. 27 at Page 116 to which reference is here made.

To Have And To Hold The Premises aforesaid, with all and singular the rights, privileges appurtenances and immunities thereto belonging, or in anywise appertaining unto the said party of the second part, and unto his heirs and assigns FOREVER; the said James W. Fry and wife hereby covenanting that they are lawfully seized of an indefeasible ESTATE IN FEE in the premises herein conveyed; that they have good right to convey the same; that the said premises are free and clear of any incumbrances done or suffered by them or those under whom they claim; and that they will WARRANT AND DEFEND the title to the said premises unto the said party of the second part, and unto his heirs and assigns FOREVER, against the lawful claims and demands of all persons whatsoever.

STATE OF MISSOURI, COUNTY OF ST. FRANCOIS

BE IT REMEMBER, That on this 20th Day of July A.D.1880 before the undersigned, a Judge of the Probate court Within and for the county of St. Francois and State of Missouri, personally came James W. Fry and Adalinda C. his wife Who are personally known to me to be same persons whose names are subscribed to the foregoing instrument of writing as parties therto , and acknowledged the same to be their act and deed for the purposes therein mentioned. And the said Adalinda C. Fry being by me first made acquainted with the contents of said instrument, upon an examination separate and apart from her husband acknowledged that she executed the same, and relinquishes her dower in the real estate therein mentioned, freely and without fear compulsion or undue influence of her said husband.
