DEED JAMES FRY FROM F.R.MADISON - 1879
This indenture, made this seventh day of March in the year of our Lord 1879, between F. R. Madison and Laura E. his
wife of Yellville in the county of Marion and state of Arkansas of the first part, and James Fry of in the county of St.
Genevieve and state of Missouri of the second part: witnesseth, that the said parties of the first part, in consideration
of the sum of $320, to them duly paid, have sold and by their presents do grant and convey to the said party of the
second part, his heirs and assigns,
all the tract or parcel of land, situated in St. Genevieve county and state of Missouri, the southwest quarter of the
northwest quarter of section 8 Township 36, range 6 East containing 40 acres,
and I, the said Laura E., hereby relinquish all my right of dower in the above described lands together with the appurtenances and all the estate, title and interest of the said part of the first part therein and the said F. R. Madison and Laura E. Madison do hereby covenant and agree that at the delivery hereof they were the lawful owner of the premises above granted, and seized of a good and indefeasible estate of inheritance therein, free and clear of all encumbrances, and that they will warrant and defend the same in the quiet and peaceable possession of said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns forever. In witness whereof the said parties of the first part, have hereunto set their hand and seals the day and year above written.

On this seventh day of March 1879 before me a Notary Public of the said county and state, personally came F..
R. Madison and Laura E. Madison his wife to me known as the parties grantor in the foregoing deed and signed the
same in my presence and acknowledged they had executed the same for the purposes and considerations therein set
forth. And the said Laura E. wife of said F. R.Madison, being examined by me separately from her said husband,
acknowledged that she had signed and executed the relinquishment of her dower therein freely and without
compulsion or undue influence of her said husband.

This indenture, made on the 5th day of March, A.D. One Thousand Eight Hundred and Seventy Nine by and between
Henry Sepp of the County of Jefferson, and State of Missouri party of the first part and F.R. Madison of the County of
Ste. Genevieve, and State of Missouri party of the second part, Witnesseth, that the said party of the first part, in
consideration of the sum of one-dollar, to them paid by the party of the second part the receipt of which is hereby
acknowledged do by these presents, remise, release, and forever quit-claim unto the said party of the second part, the
following described lots, tracts, or parcels of land, lying, being in situate in the County of Ste. Genevieve and State of
Missouri, to wit: Southwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 8, Township 36, North, Range 6 East,
containing 40 acres. This deed of quit-claim being made in release of and satisfaction for, a certain deed of trust
dated the 18th day of December, 1875; recorded in the Recorder's Office within and for the County of Ste. Genevieve
aforesaid in Deed Book 28, at pages 36. To have and to hold the same, with all the rights, immunities, privileges and
appurtenances thereto belonging, unto the said party of the second part, and his heirs and assigns forever; so that
neither the said party of the first part, nor his heirs, nor any other person or persons for him or in his name or behalf,
shall or will hereafter claim or demand any right or title to the aforesaid premises, or any part thereof, but they and
every of them shall, by these presents, be excluded and forever barred. In Witness whereof, the said party of the first
part has hereunto set his hand and seal, the day and year first above written.
