He married Anna Barbara Binckele April 29, 1742 in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. She was born June 01, 1722 in Alsace, Germany (now Bas-Rhin, France), and died January 06, 1791 in Salem, Forsyth County, North Carolina./P>
