THIS INDENTURE Made on the 2nd day of April 1875 by and between Barnet Fry and Nancy Fry - his wife of the county of Ste. Genevieve, Missouri parties of the first part, and Gideon Guittar of the County of Ste. Genevieve in the State of Missouri party of the second part.
WITNESSETH, That the said parties of the first part, in consideration of the sum of One Hundred Dollars, to them paid by the said party of the second part, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, do by these presents, Grant, Bargain, and Sell, Convey and Confirm unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns, the following described lots, tracts or parcels of land, lying, being and situate in the County of Ste Genevieve and State of Missouri to wit:
All of Lot number Two of the North West quarter of the North West quarter of SectionFive in Township 36 North of Range 7 East supposed to be about 57 acres more less.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD The premises aforesaid, with all and singular the rights, privileges, appurtenances and immunities thereto belonging or in anywise appertaining, unto the said party of the second part, and unto his heirs and assigns, FOREVER; the said Barnet Fry and Nancy Fry his wife hereby convenanting that their lawfully seized of an indefeasible ESTATE IN FEE in the premises herein conveyed; that they have good right to convey the same; that the said premises are free and clear of any incumbrances done or suffered by them or those under whom they claim; and that they will WARRANT AND DEFEND the title to the said premises unto the said party of the Second Part, and unto his heirs and assigns, FOREVER, against the lawful claims and demands of all persons whomsoever. This deed is made subject to a Trust deed on the 60 acres for $200 held by Jacob Larby.

STATE OF MISSOURI, COUNTY OF STE. GENEVIEVE
BE IT REMEMBERED, That on this 2th Day of April A.D.1875 before the undersigned, a Justice of the Peace within and for the County of Ste. Genevieve and State of Missouri, personally came Barnet Fry and Nancy Fry his wife who are personally known to me to be the same persons whose names are subscribed to the foregoing instrument of writing as parties thereto, and acknowledged the same to be thereafter and the for the purposes therein mentioned. And the said Nancy Fry his wife being by me first made acquainted with the contents of said instrument, upon an examination separate and of part from her husband, acknowledged that she executed the same, and relinquishes all her dower and the Real Estate therein mentioned, freely and without fear, compulsion or undue influence of her said husband.

My term of office as Justice of the Peace will expire November A.D. 1914.
