This Deed made and entered into this twenty fourth day of September A.D. 1866 by and betwixt Barnet Fry and Nancy his wife of St. Genevieve County and State of Missouri parties of the first part and John Fry of St. Genevieve County and State of Missouri party of the second part witnesseth: That this parties of the first part in consideration of One hundred dollars to them paid in hand by the second party the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged do by these presents, grant bargain and sell convey and confirm unto the said party of the second parte and to his heirs and assigns forever the following described land being situated and lying and blank in the County of St. Genevieve and State of Missouri to wit:
The South West quarter of the South West quarter of Section five and the South East quarter of the South East quarter of Section six Township 36 North of Range 7 East containing eighty acres more or less. To have and to hold the same together with all the rights immunities privileges and appurtenances to the same belonging unto the said party of the second part and to his heirs and assigns forever: the said Barnet Fry and Nancy his wife hereby covenanting that they their heirs executors and administrators shall warrant and definde the title to the premises to the said party of the second part and to his heirs and assigns forever against the lawful claims of all persons to witness thereof the said parties of the first parte have hereunto set there hands and seals the day and year first above written.

Be it remembered that Barnet Fry and Nancy his wife who are personally known to the undersigned a Justice of the Peace within and fore said County to be the persons whoes names are subscribed to the foregoing dede as parties thereto this day appears before me, and acknowledges that tha executed and delivered the same as there volunterly act and deed fore the use and purpose thare in contained and the said Nancy Fry being by me made acquanted withe contents of said deed acknowledged on an examonation aparte from her said husband that she executed the same and relinquish his here dower in the said real estate therein mentioned frely and without compulsion or under influence of her said husband given under my hand this 24thday Sept A.D. 1866
