Presslers in 1494 Census

Mr. Gerd Pressler of Hochstadt/Pfalz has discovered a document which shows that Presslers were in Niederhochstadt as early as 1494, just two years after Columbus discovered America. He reported that in July 2000 he worked in the archive in Speyer and his attention was directed to a census list of residents of the region in 1494.  He discovered that one Heintz Preßler was then living in Niederhochstadt (Unnder Hohenstatt), one hundred years earlier than previously documented.

The photocopy of this document, along with a typescript by Gerd Pressler, is seen here.  It appears to me that this is what we might call a tax list, but I'll make no effort to translate 500-year old German spelling and grammar, even the typescript.
