This lovely lady is Lydia McDaniel b. January 25, 1878- died September 11, 1939
She married Frank H. Sprowls. Her obit is # 1. GOTO

Grandson Of Andrew Jackson McDaniel

                William Claffey Jr., (my grandfather) grandson of Andrew Jackson McDaniel
         was born June 23, 1874 in Washington Pa. He also, as did his cousin Lydia
        McDaniel Sprowls above, lived his entire life in West End Washington Pa.
        In 1890, he married Mary Arabelle Miller, daughter of Joseph Allison Miller
        and Sara Elizabeth Burwell Miller. During his lifetime William Jr. worked as
        a Glass Bottle Blower at the Hazel Atlas Glass Plant #2, operated a small
        candy store in West End. I'm told that he was also responsible for the building
        of Eighth Ward Playground in early 1920's. He died May 31, 1930 and is
        buried in Washington Cemetery. His Obit is # 2 GO TO
