A transcription from the Corinth Cemetery, Foley, MO obtained from June Groshong, Troy, MO, contains a listing of Joel V. Crenshaw Aug. 16, 1885 - July 19, 1962.²⁵⁵ On the same headstone is his wife, Jessie Tribla (nee McHugh) Sept. 10, 1890 - Jan 3, 1968.²⁵⁵ Received photo from E.B. Crenshaw, Jr. of the above mentioned headstone confirming dates (EBCIII - 12/26/2000). Alita McHugh Beck has confirmed that this is Joel Vertrees and his wife, Jessie.²⁵⁷
