"A Family Reunion"90
Cathern Froneberger, born July 12, 1819. She was married to Paul Froneberger in 1837, to whom were born 14 children, 3 living and 11 dead. Has 24 grand children and 48 great grand children, of whom 46 were present, and a large number of friends and neighbors to celebrate her 86th birthday. She seemed to be in very good health, and enjoyed the occasion greatly. After religious services conducted by Rev. Sparrow and myself, we all repaired to the spring where a fine dinner was prepared for the eager guests, and after 150 or 2__ people were amply supplied and fully satisfied, there must have been half as many baskets full gathered up as when Christ fed the 5000. I saw Dr. Kiser had some large split baskets with him which may have been brought along for the purpose. We had a fine time and a royal feast. The doctors will have theirs in a day or two. I heard some complaining with the headache.90
May God bless us all, and if never permitted to meet in another reuntion on earth may we all meet at the reunion of our Father's family in heaven.90
