Died

Crenshaw -- At her home near New Salem church at 2 AM Sunday,
January 22, 1888, of pneumonia. Mrs. Joel Crenshaw, aged 75
years, 6 month and 20 days.

She was the mother of fifteen children, eleven of whom and her husband
survive her. For many years past she has been a member of the Baptist
Church and was universally loved and respected. Her remains were
interred Monday in the family burying grounds, the funeral services being
conducted by Elder Chas. A. Michell.
