In addition to my own research, I'd like to give credit and thanks to the painstaking research efforts of Helen Stavert and Andrea Lynne Davis (both in Canada), Jean Williamson (in Australia), and Andrew Paterson. I'd also like to thank my many, many relatives (this is a REALLY BIG family) who have found themselves on this tree or have been contacted by me and who have so generously shared their time, memories, photos and family histories. A special mention to my Scottish cousins (descendents of James Galloway Easton) who I got to meet face to face in Edinburgh and Wee Helen in Canada. And then there are the hundreds of other family researchers out there who have provided me with invaluable advice and guidance through mailing lists and family sites. They are generous, kind hearted people and without them, I would have been lost before I began!!! I hope I can return the favour one day!
PLEASE NOTE: There may be information posted on this site that has not been verified with primary sources. I am in the process of doing just that, but want to get the information out there so that others can participate in the process. I apologize for any errors. If you see any, please let me know and I'll do my best to correct them.
I'm also researching my BLACKMORE and ADDERLEY families.
