Important info re: Our Society Chairman

At our last AGM in October our Chairman for the past nine years Mr Lional EAST advised he will not seek re-election next year. We are therefore seeking a volunteer to offer his or her services at the meeting to fill this important post. PLEASE let me know if you would like to be considered. He will remain Chairman for 2009-10.
Lional will continue to look after and report on the EAST DNA Data.

Addition to Data Base free to Members

You should note we have revised our Database Page in order to give a broader picture of the information we can provide on and above, that which is now readily available in the general World Wide Web and added a complete list of all BMD Certificates we are currently holding. As a member if you would like the full details written on a particular certificate then please email Mrs Anne EAST our Data Base and Research Manager.

‘Points EAST- Publication Dates’

Please note the following important dates for the two annual issues of our Newsletter:

ALL members contributing items for publication PLEASE note the above dates!

Receive ‘Points EAST’ by Electronic Mail!!!

As discussed and agreed at the last AGM any Member who wishes to receive all their future copies by electron mail can do so by emailing their request to Chris East, Editor of ‘Points EAST’ (see Members’ Interest Page for his email address). As Chris pointed out it would have the advantages of being sent earlier and providing the facility of reproducing colour in photos and articles, which is prohibitive through high printing costs.

Binders for your copies of ‘Points EAST’

We can offer blue Cordex binders, each one capable of holding 12 copies of Points EAST. The spine is blocked in gold with the Society’s name and signpost from our Logo. Click here to see photo of Binder. (ONLY FOUR REMAINING)
It was decided to place a modest order at the 2005 AGM and members’ who then reserved copies had them despatched. Prices remain unchanged as follows:
£6each in the UK; US$14(£7)each in US of A; C$17(£7)each in Canada; A$21(£8) each in Australia; NZ$24(£8)each in New Zealand and 11Euros(£7)each in European Union..
