     Catherine married Elijah Clifford Somers, son of Robert Somers and Harriet Almeda Sheldon, on May 20, 1844 at the Church of England in Ascot. The marriage was officiated by S. Doolittle, in the presence of Mittus Crosby and Sarah Crosby.1
