     Margaret Goodwillie was born circa Aug 7, 1787 in Nova Scotia.2,3,1 She was the daughter of Joseph Goodwillie and Mary Ann Tague.1 She was baptized on May 11, 1794.1

     Margaret married William Somers, son of Bartholomew Somers and Susanna Carr, on Jan 9, 1817.1

     Margaret appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Barnet, Caledonia County, Vermont, enumerated Aug 29, 1850. Also in the house were her daughters Margaret, Mary and Jennett, and her grandson, William A. Weeks.2

     She appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Barnet, Caledonia County, Vermont in the household of her daughter and son-in-law, Margaret and Ebenezer Hinds Strobridge.3

     Margaret died on Jul 18, 1872.1
