     Viletta Somers was born in Dec, 1849 in Vermont.1,2 She was the daughter of Claudius Buchanan Somers and Agnes Gibson.1

     She appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Ryegate, Caledonia County, Vermont in the household of her parents.2
