     David H. Somers was born circa 1835 in Vermont.1,3,4,2 He was the son of Bartholomew Somers and Jean Morrison.1

     He appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Barnet, Caledonia County, Vermont in the household of his father.3

     David died on Jun 10, 1863, at home, after developing consumption while serving in the Civil War.1,4,2 He was buried in Barnet Center Cemetery, Barnet.4,2
