     Abigail and Claudius appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Barnet, Caledonia County, Vermont, enumerated Aug 27, 1850, with their children Laura and Mary. Also in the house was Seth Somers.³

     Abigail and Claudius appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Barnet, Caledonia County, Vermont, enumerated Jul 12, 1860, with their children Laura, Mary, Wallace and Julia.²

     The family moved to Green Mountain, Iowa.¹
