     Louisa Lee was born in Dec, 1812 in Vermont.1,2,3,4,5,6,7 She was the daughter of Phineas Lee and Ann Plaisted.1

     Louisa married (1st) John Abbott in Nov, 1833.1 They had no children.1

     Louisa married (2nd) Claud Somers, son of John Somers and Isabel Buchanan, between Jan 6, 1849 and May 31, 1850; (after the death of Claud's 1st wife Rebecca, and before the 1850 U.S. Census enumeration date of Jun 1).1

     Louisa and Claud appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Ryegate, Caledonia County, Vermont, enumerated Sep 9, 1850, with Claud's father John, and siblings Anna, Isabel, Reuben and Archibald. Also in the house were Ellen Somers and Abba Somers, and laborer Jerry Mahona.2

     Louisa and Claud appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Ryegate, Caledonia County, Vermont, enumerated Jul 6, 1860, with their son Lee. Also in the house was Claud's father John, and Ellen Somers, Elisa Somers and Abbie Somers.3

     Louisa and Claud appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Barnet, Caledonia County, Vermont, enumerated Jul 13, 1870, with their son Lee, and Claud's father John, and sister Anna. Also in the house were Jessie Abbott and Robert Hunter.4

     Louisa and Claud appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Barnet, Caledonia County, Vermont, enumerated Jun 10, 1880, with their grandchildren Clara, William and Lee and their daughter-in-law and her husband, Mary and Claudius Alden Brock. Also in the house was Alonso Fife.5

     Louisa died on Feb 20, 1894 at the age of 81 years and 2 months.1,6,7 She was buried in Barnet Center Cemetery, Barnet.6,7
