     Harriet Susannah Somers was born on Mar 18, 1818 in Barnet, Vermont.1,2 She was the daughter of Robert Somers and Harriet Almeda Sheldon.1

     Harriet married Walker Minor Gilkerson, son of John Gilkerson and Elizabeth Minor, on Jan 21, 1841 at the Congregational Church in Sherbrooke. The marriage was performed by Jas Robertson. Witnesses were Harriet's brother Elijah Somers, and Catherine Carlin.3,4,1

     Harriet died between 1842 and Nov 11, 1846.5
