     William married Mary M. Madden, daughter of Charles Madden and Mary C. Johnson, on Apr 3, 1894 in New York. The marriage was performed by Chas. E. Miller. Witness was Betsey Jones.2,4

     William and Mary appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of 1489 Broadway, Brooklyn, New York City, Kings County, New York, enumerated Jun 14, 1900, with their children Reginald, Edward, Ruth and Naomi. This census shows there were 5 children, with 4 still living.4

     William died on Oct 7, 1900 in Manhattan at the age of 32 years and 2 months; at home.5 He was buried at Fresh Pond Crematory and Columbarium, Middle Village.5
