     Caroline Schetter was born in 1850, in Oldenburg, Germany.1,2,3,4 She was the daughter of Heinrich Friederich Ludwig Schetter and Tibetha Gertrude Holtzermann.

     She emigrated with her parents from Oldenburg, Germany to America in 1854 on the ship Germania.2

     She appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Piqua, Miami County, Ohio in the household of her parents.3

     She appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Piqua, Miami County, Ohio in the household of her sister and brother-in-law, Elise and Christopher August Holtzermann.4

     She appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Piqua, Miami County, Ohio in the household of her sister Elise.1

     Caroline died in Apr, 1928 at the age of 78 years.5 She was buried on Apr 27, 1928 in Forest Hill Cemetery, Piqua.5
