     Tibetha Gertrude Holtzermann was born on Sep 22, 1810 in Heilingenloh, Germany.1,2,3 She was the daughter of Heinrich Eberhard Holtzermann and (?) Menke.

     Tibetha married Heinrich Friederich Ludwig Schetter, son of Christian Friedrich Schetter and Anna Eleanore Friese.1

     Tibetha and Heinrich emigrated from Oldenburg, Germany to America in 1854 on the ship Germania. With them were their children Elise, Christoph, Marie, Julius and Caroline.1

     Tibetha (Bettey) and Heinrich (Lewis) appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Piqua, Miami County, Ohio, enumerated Jun 4, 1860, with their children Elise, Christoph, Marie, Julius and Caroline.2

     She appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Piqua, Miami County, Ohio in the household of her daughter and son-in-law, Elise and Christopher August Holtzermann.3

     Tibetha died in Apr, 1872 in Piqua at the age of 61 years and 6 months.1
