     Jacob Daniel Holtzermann was born on Sep 10, 1869 in Piqua, Ohio.1,2,3,4,5,6 He was the son of Christopher August Holtzermann and Elise Schetter.

     He appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Piqua, Miami County, Ohio in the household of his parents.4 He appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Piqua, Miami County, Ohio in the household of his mother.2

     In the fall of 1886, Jacob and his mother Elise Schetter moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota.7

     He appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of 608 17th Avenue South, Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota in the household of his mother.5 He appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of 608 17th Avenue South, Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota in the household of his mother.6

     Jacob died of appendicitis in Nov, 1911 in Italy at the age of 42 years and 1 month.8,3 He was buried on Nov 24, 1911 in Forest Hill Cemetery, Piqua.8
