     Adaline Brooks was born on Feb 7, 1836 in Québec.3,4,5,6 She was the daughter of George Washington Brooks and Rebecca J. Flagg.1

     She appeared on the 1851 Canadian Census of Ascot township, Sherbrooke, Canada East (Québec) in the household of her parents.3

     Adaline married Fredrick Everell Wadleigh on Dec 31, 1860 at the Congregational Church in Sherbrooke, Québec.2,1

     Adaline and Fredrick appeared on the 1881 Canadian Census of Coaticook, Stanstead, Québec, with their children Mary, Adaline, Anna, Emma and Isabel.4

     Adaline and Fredrick appeared on the 1901 Canadian Census of Coaticook, Stanstead, Québec, enumerated Apr 2, 1901, with their children Anna, Adaline and Isabel, and their grandchildren Archie Hammond, Jennie E. Hammond, Frank R. Hammond and Mary E. Hammond.5

     Adaline died on Sep 11, 1917 at the age of 81 years, 7 months and 4 days.6 She was buried in Mount Forest Cemetery, Coaticook.6
