     Elizabeth Brooks was born on Apr 22, 1834 in Québec.2,3,4 She was the daughter of George Washington Brooks and Rebecca J. Flagg.1

     She appeared on the 1851 Canadian Census of Ascot township, Sherbrooke, Canada East (Québec) in the household of her parents.2

     Elizabeth married William Henry Ball on Feb 16, 1864 at the Congregational Church in Sherbrooke.5,1

     Elizabeth appeared on the 1881 Canadian Census of Waterville, Compton, Québec, with her children William, Wellington, Mary, Isabella and Elizabeth, and her sister Emily. Also in the house were Lear Hennington Crosby and Frank Dacan.3

     Elizabeth died on Mar 24, 1905 at the age of 70 years, 11 months and 2 days.4 She was buried in Saint John Cemetery, Waterville.4
