     Lucinda S. Brooks was born circa 1833 in Québec.3,4 She was the daughter of George Washington Brooks and Rebecca J. Flagg.1

     She appeared on the 1851 Canadian Census of Ascot township, Sherbrooke, Canada East (Québec) in the household of her parents.3

     Lucinda married James Small on Jun 15, 1859 at the Congregational Church in Sherbrooke.2,1

     Lucinda and James appeared on the 1881 Canadian Census of Dunham, Missisquoi, Québec, with their children Reid, Stephen, George, Jessie, Annie, Winnifred, Beatrice and Mary.4
