     Ralph and Elisabeth appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, enumerated Jun 14, 1900, with their daughter and son-in-law, Gertrude and James Andrew Lounsbury, and grandchildren Ralph G. Lounsbury and Elizabeth L. Lounsbury. Also in the house were boarders Katherine L Hinslie and James Hinslie with their 6 children, and servants Alice Ellans, Hulda Johnson and Ellen Okberg.3

     Ralph, widower, appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, enumerated Apr 15, 1910, with his son-in-law James Andrew Lounsbury, his grandchildren Ralph G. Lounsbury and Elizabeth L. Lounsbury, and James's mother Isabella S. (?). Also in the house were servants Esther S. Anderson, Emma C. Turnvall, Esther S. Holmgren, William Walsh and Catherine P. Walsh.4
