     Isabella Brooks was born on Sep 15, 1856 in Canada.2,3,4 She was the daughter of William Brooks and Emily Abbott.1,2 She was baptized on Dec 7, 1856 at the Congregational Church in Sherbrooke. Witnesses were J. G. Robertson and William Addie.2

     She appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Chicago, Cook County, Illinois in the household of her sister and brother-in-law, Elisabeth and Ralph S.
