     Emily and Robert appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, enumerated Jun 8, 1880, with their children Grace, William and Victoria. Also in the house was Emma Hanson, servant.5

     Emily and Robert appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, enumerated Jun 12, 1900, with their children Grace, William and Victoria. Also in the house were servants Eirsma Johnston and Emely Johnston.6

     Emily died on Jul 25, 1906 in Chicago at the age of 63 years and 11 months.8
