     Eleanor Brooks, twin of Elisabeth, was born on Aug 14, 1838 in Canada.1,4,5,6 She was the daughter of William Brooks and Emily Abbott.2,3 She was baptized on Oct 9, 1838 at the Congregational Church in Sherbrooke.1

     She appeared on the 1851 Canadian Census of Orford township, Sherbrooke, Canada East (Québec) in the household of her parents.4

     She appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Chicago, Cook County, Illinois in the household of her sister and brother-in-law, Elisabeth and Ralph S. Greenlee.5 She appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Chicago, Cook County, Illinois in the household of her sister and brother-in-law, Elisabeth and Ralph S. Greenlee.6

     Eleanor died on Oct 15, 1892 in Chicago at the age of 54 years, 2 months and 1 day.7
