     Maria Margaret Brooks was born on Mar 4, 1852 in Québec.1,3,4 She was the daughter of Charles Brooks and Sally Abbott.2,1 She was baptized on Oct 7, 1852 at the Congregational Church in Sherbrooke, witnessed by John Drummond.1

     She appeared on the 1881 Canadian Census of Lennoxville, Sherbrooke, Québec in the household of her parents.3

     Maria died on Jun 8, 1901 at the age of 49 years, 3 months and 4 days.4 She was buried in Elmwood Cemetery, Sherbrooke.4
