Descendants of Samuel Brooks
     Elizabeth Maria Sanborn was born on Sep 24, 1848 in Sherbrooke, Québec.2,3,4,5 She was the daughter of John Sewall Sanborn and Eleanor Hall Brooks.1 She was baptized on Jan 3, 1849 at the Congregational Church in Sherbrooke. Witnesses were Giffard Dorey and Samuel T. Brooks.2

     She appeared on the 1851 Canadian Census of Orford township, Sherbrooke, Canada East (Québec) in the household of her parents.3

     Elizabeth married Thomas I. Tuck, son of Samuel Tuck and Adeline Arms, on Oct 26, 1870 at the Congregational Church in Sherbrooke.1,6

     Elizabeth and Thomas appeared on the 1881 Canadian Census of Sherbrooke, North Ward, Sherbrooke, Québec. Listed with them were Thomas's parents, Samuel and Adeline.7

     Elizabeth, widow, appeared on the 1901 Canadian Census of Sherbrooke, Sherbrooke, Québec, enumerated Apr 11, 1901. Also in the house was domestic F. Sargent.4

     Elizabeth died on Dec 24, 1917 at the age of 69 years and 3 months.5 She was buried in Elmwood Cemetery, Sherbrooke.5
