Edward Towle Brooks was born circa 1830 in Ascot, Québec.4,5 He was the son of Samuel Brooks and Elizabeth Towle.2,3
He appeared on the 1851 Canadian Census of Orford township, Sherbrooke, Canada East (Québec) in the household of his sister John.4
Edward married Sarah Louisa Clarke on Sep 23, 1856 at the Episcopal Church in Sherbrooke.6
Edward and Sarah appeared on the 1881 Canadian Census of Sherbrooke, North Ward, Sherbrooke, Québec, enumerated 1881, with their children Ernest, Rose and Noel.5
Edward died before Mar 31, 1901.7 He was buried on Aug 9, 1897 in Elmwood Cemetery, Sherbrooke.8
