Descendants of Samuel Brooks
     Charlotte Louisa Brooks was born on Jan 10, 1865 in Québec.2,3,4,5,6 She was the daughter of George Brooks and Christiana Seaman Thompson.1 Charlotte was baptized on May 28, 1865 at the Adventist Church in Sherbrooke; present were her godparents, Alex Winter and Sarah Winter, and her aunt Charlotte Anne Thompson.2

     She appeared on the 1881 Canadian Census of Sherbrooke, Sherbrooke, Québec in the household of her father.3

     Charlotte married Hugh Morecroft Tomlinson, son of (?) Tomlinson, on Dec 7, 1892 at the Church of England in Sherbrooke The marriage was performed by George Thorneloe, in the presence of witnesses H. R. Brasey and M. B. Ashe.7,1

     Charlotte and Hugh appeared with their daughter Marion on the 1901 Canadian Census of 45 Queen Street, Sherbrooke, Sherbrooke County, Québec in the household of Hugh's brother Walter.4

     Charlotte and Hugh appeared on the 1911 Canadian Census of 13 Montcalm Street, Sherbrooke, North Ward, Sherbrooke, Québec, with their daughter Marion.5

     Charlotte died on Apr 28, 1943 at the age of 78 years, 3 months and 18 days.6 She was buried in St. Peter's Cemetery, Sherbrooke.6
