Descendants of Samuel Brooks
     Annie Taylor Brooks was born on Sep 18, 1860 in Québec.2,3,4,5,6 She was the daughter of George Brooks and Christiana Seaman Thompson.1 Annie was baptized on Oct 28, 1860 at the Episcopal Church in Sherbrooke; present were her godparents E. B. Loomis and Anna H. Taylor.2

     She appeared on the 1881 Canadian Census of Sherbrooke, Sherbrooke, Québec in the household of her father George.3

     Annie married Walter Morecroft Tomlinson, son of (?) Tomlinson, on Apr 12, 1882 at St. Peter's Church in Sherbrooke . The marriage was performed by C. P. Reid, in the presence of Walter's brother H. M. Tomlinson, Annie's father George Brooks, and Charles? L. Brooks and G? W? Brooks?7,1

     Annie and Walter appeared on the 1901 Canadian Census of 45 Queen Street, Sherbrooke, Sherbrooke County, Québec, enumerated Apr 11, 1901, with their daughter Katherine. Also in the household were Walter's brother Hugh, and Hugh's wife and daughter, Charlotte and Marion.4

     Annie and Walter appeared on the 1911 Canadian Census of 15 Melbourne Street, Sherbrooke, Sherbrooke County, Québec.5

     Annie died in 1952 at the age of 91 years.8,6 She was buried in St. Peter's Cemetery, Sherbrooke.6
