     Georgie Isabella Brooks was born on Dec 30, 1855 in Québec.2,3,4,5,6 She was the daughter of George Brooks and Christiana Seaman Thompson.1 Georgie was baptized on Jun 15, 1856 at the Episcopal Church in Sherbrooke; present were W. Bail, Helen Clarke and Edward Brooks.2

     At the age of 21, Georgie married Richard Dalby Morkill, son of Richard Dalby Morkill and Luvia Doolittle Osgood, on Oct 24, 1877 at the Anglican Church in Sherbrooke.7,8

     Georgie and Richard appeared on the 1881 Canadian Census of Sherbrooke, North Ward, Sherbrooke, Québec with their son Dalby. Also in the house were Willard A. Smith and Louisa Smith.4

     Georgie and Richard appeared on the 1901 Canadian Census of Rossland Riding, Kootenay, Yale & Cariboo, British Columbia, enumerated Apr 23, 1901, with their children Dalby and Alan.5

     Georgie died on Aug 29, 1929 in Vancouver at the age of 73 years, 7 months and 30 days.3,6 She was buried in Vancouver.9,6
